मध्यप्रदेश में शराब दुकानों के संचालन को लेकर बड़ा प्रशासनिक निर्णय सामने आया है। आबकारी विभाग ने 12 दौर की नीलामी के बाद शेष बची 489 दुकानों के संचालन के लिए सरकार निगम या मंडल बनाकर स्वयं शराब बचेगा।
इससे स्पष्ट है कि सरकार अब पारंपरिक नीलामी मॉडल के साथ वैकल्पिक व्यवस्था पर भी गंभीरता से काम कर रही है। सरकार के इस कदम को आबकारी व्यवस्था में बड़े बदलाव और राजस्व प्रबंधन को मजबूत करने की दिशा में अहम माना जा रहा है।
बैठक में उप मुख्यमंत्री जगदीश देवड़ा, स्कूल शिक्षा एवं परिवहन मंत्री राव उदय प्रताप सिंह, प्रमुख सचिव वाणिज्यिक कर अमित राठौर और आबकारी आयुक्त दीपक कुमार सक्सेना शामिल रहे।
